Meet:
Dr. Jessica Cervantes, MD
Dr. Cervantes is a Harvard-trained Board-Certified Dermatologist who was born in Havana, Cuba and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of six. Driven by her own struggles with cystic acne and alopecia areata, she discovered her passion for dermatology and has since dedicated herself to helping patients achieve healthy and beautiful skin.
Dr. Cervantes graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Miami in 2013 with a full academic scholarship. She went on to earn her medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 2019, graduating with highest honors and earning induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (ΑΩΑ). Dr. Cervantes also received a Research Distinction Award after dedicating an additional year to dermatologic basic science and clinical research.
After completing medical school, Dr. Cervantes pursued a post-doctoral transitional year at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she cared for patients during the peak of the COVID pandemic and was recognized with the Resident of the Year award for her exceptional dedication and service. She then completed a prestigious Dermatology residency within the renowned Harvard Combined Dermatology program in Boston, MA. Throughout her residency, Dr. Cervantes trained alongside brilliant and accomplished Dermatologists and Mohs surgeons at distinguished institutions, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess, Lahey Clinic, and Boston Children's Hospital.
With her impressive academic and professional credentials, Dr. Cervantes is dedicated to providing the highest quality dermatological care to her patients, and she looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the field of dermatology.
